Wildcharge Powers Up At CES

WildchargeTucked away near the back of the Sands is a new innovation from WildCharge that looks to be the disruptive technology that brings industry elites from around the world to Las Vegas each January.

The company's unique charging system uses no wires and no custom recharging adapters, just a simple mouse pad-sized console that can be used to charge anything from small gizmos to laptops by simply laying them atop it. WildCharge is currently working towards a release of the charging pad and customized skins for popular devices such as Blackberrys or iPods, but is also actively seeking out manufacturers to incorporate the technology into next-generation devices so no addition skin is required. If the buzz around the booth is any bellwether of future success (during our Q&A with company execs, representatives from Logitech and AMD showed up to learn more about WildCharge system), the charger may be destined for a whole host of new devices in the coming 12 months.
